AP Transco release revises RFS for 1000 MW bid

AP Transco release revises RFS for 1000 MW bid, last date is 07/02/2013. AP Transco has floated the revises RFS for 1000 MW solar power capacity to be connected at 33/ 11 KV substation. The developer shall identify the project site near the respective substation for the proposed installation. The bid is to be submitted through the e procurement platform. The bidder shall pay a non refundable processing fee of 2 lac for each location. There is a security deposit also required which is in the form of bank guarantee (2 lac / MW) in favor of Chief engineer of AP Transco. The net worth of the bidder should be more than 1 Cr/ MW which is lesser than the net worth requirement in the recent bid requirement for the other states. Selection of bidder will be on the basis of lowest tariff quoted/ unit of electricity. Hence, the tariff for each location is expected to be different.
