02-02-2013, Hyderabad: First Green Consulting conducted a Workshop on Solar Power Project Development. There was gathering of 50 participants. Participant from prestigious organizations like JK lakshmi cement limited, Worldbank, Lanco, MMEPL, Interoean shipping India limited, Hanergy, Fortum, Mahindra EPC, GMR Energy and TERI have attended the workshop. We would like to present a bundle of thanks to all participants for taking part in the event and make it successful.
Firstgreen consulting has been organizing workshops on the various topics associated with the solar market. But, this workshop was different than our previous workshops. Since, previous workshops were on Solar PV system sizing, project management, project financing and more. All those topics were sharing information required during the planning or implementation phase. However, in this workshop we discussed about how to develop a solar PV plant.
There are three speakers in this work shop. Dr. Sanjay Vashishtha explained the necessity of the solar PV plant development the policy nature in India. The key aspects of this discussion is about what is the outlook for solar power development given the current policies and regulations at the centre and the states, What is the trajectory of solar power capacity additions and it s impact on the Indian solar market and What are the different financial models and benchmarks to assess the project viability.
After then, Mr. Santosh Kamath has enlightened the Macro view of Solar Power development. He said about key factors which can drive this market, How the other renewable energy technologies will effect Solar, policy background of some states. Further, after Mr. Vishnu Reddy has taken the Project management issues, common problems while developing a solar PV plant, and also shared the field experiences.
After this session, there was a questions answer session, in which participants have asked many questions and cleared their doubts.
