Delhi educational institutions most open to solar power: Dyal Singh College saves up on electricity bills

Dyal Singh College of Delhi University installed solar power panels on the campus, thus becoming the first DU college to make this move in an effort to become self sufficient in electricity production. The college will reportedly be saving up to 30 percent on power bills.Power major BSES announced on April 28 that its ‘net-metering’ initiative in order to produce solar energy was being received very well in the capital city. Educational institutes in the Capital are right on track in showing the green energy path to the rest of the country.
