Gamesa to set up 130 MW solar projects in India

Gamesa, the Spain-based wind turbine manufacturer, has signed a contract with Atria Power, for setting up of 130 MW of solar power in Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh.
Gamesa will construct two solar power plants with a capacity of 40 MW and 90 MW, and will also set up 96 photovoltaic inverters of 1.37 MW.
Under the agreement, the wind turbine manufacturer will also be in charge of the design and engineering of the facilities. In addition, it will also responsible for the operations and maintenance of the facilities slated for commissioning in March 2017.
