Intercoean group was founded as Ship Broking house in 1961. After years of success in the industry and some pioneering cargo fixtures, the group diversified into various other activities. Company has its keen interest in Energy sector and already own wind mills. It was the time when, company wanted to broaden its portfolio in power sector by investing in solar PV.declared, Interocean won the full capacity for which they had filled their bid in the state of Chhattisgarh and Karnataka.

They were exploring opportunities and in the meanwhile they come in the contact of FirstGreen.at that time two state namely Chhattisgarh and Karnataka were asking for the bid for the purchase of solar power. We discussed this opportunity with them. They find this as a good option to start their investment in solar. They appointed FirstGreen as bid advisory consultant.

There are loads of parameter like technical feasibility, competitors, capital investment required, surety of debt arrangement,winning bid price etc which needs to be closely evaluated before filling a bid. We have arranged meeting with some good EPC players, module/ inverter manufacturers, and financial institutions. With the preliminary estimated provided by the various vendors, we have conducted financial modelling. Then we shared the scope of negotiation and different business modals which can be adopted to execute the project. we also presented an analysis showcasing the impact of different modal on profitability of the project.
