We also work on some of the innovative applications such as solar PV DG hybrids, energy storage solutions, canal top solar solutions. Within the domain of green buildings, we have about 40 LEED Platinum certified projects in India and abroad. Firstgreen has a diversified portfolio of consulting and EPC clients spread across globe. We have a portfolio of 500 MW of solar advisory. We operate in 8 states of India and also work internationally with our office in Kenya.

Firstgreen consulting was founded by Dr. Sanjay Vashishtha, to accelerate the adoption of Renewable Energy and green buildings in developing countries through expert consultancy services, and in-depth research and innovations. Our training programs are highly sought after by policy makers, and business houses. Much of our success comes from our team members who have significantly contributed in our growth.

Dr. Sanjay Vashishtha

CEO

Dr. Vashishtha is the founder and CEO of Firstgreen Consulting. Dr. Vashishtha overseas the project origination, structuring and PPA negotiation for various clients in C&I sector as well as utility sector. Prior to FIrstgreen he has been working with Suzlon roup and DLF for developing solar and wind assets. Over the years, Dr. Vashishtha has worked across the value chain in the renewable energy domain along with various stakeholders

Raghvendra Kaushik

Director-Greenfirst Power ventures

Raghvendra is director of our subsidiary Greenfirst Power ventures and controls its operations from Jaipur, Rajasthan.

Ms. Renu is a MBA from Rajasthan University and have been the founder director of the company.

Our History

Founded in 2010, Firstgreen has worked with clients on hundreds of solar and green building projects in India and abroad. Our clients represent a broad cross-section of the sector: Independent power producers, investors in renewable energy, real estate groups, banks, financial institutions, multilateral agencies, and private equity investment companies diversified globally.

Over last decade we have initiated our operations at various locations in India as well as in Kenya.

April 2018

Firstgreen Kenya office

Firstgreen Kenya office was started in April 2018 to initiate solar EPC projects in African countries. Firstgreen partners with Manrik group in Kenya for its Africa operations.

February 2017

Assam & Rajasthan Office

Firstgreen started its diversification in the states of Assam and Rajasthan. Firstgreen created a portfolio of 2000 kW rooftop projects in Assam.

April 2016

JK group solar project management

Firstgreen was awarded the project management consulting from JK group for its solar power investments in Rajasthan. also Firstgreen developed a complete business plan for JK group for pan India investment of 100 MW solar projects.

May 2011

DLF group green building program

Firstgreen was entrusted by DLF group for pan India LEED certification of its office building portfolio through USGBC.

Solar Consulting

Our solar consulting practice offers a wide range of services in the solar projects value chain. Our services includes the design engineering, project management, investment advisory, transaction advisory and O&M.

solar permitting and solar PV consulting services with one goal in mind: To educate our clients on the ins and outs of a solar PV investment.

Green Buildings

Our green building and sustainability practices team offers guidance to project teams, property developers and owners on the USGBC/IGBC/GRIHA certification system for the development of green buildings in developing countries. Our green building advisory service cuts across 6 major property classes covering; Commercial, Residential, Retail, Education, Retail and Hospitality.

Energy Storage

We work with the latest energy storage technologies and use them in conjunction with solar PV to provide solar PV_DG _battery solutions. In Africa we provide the solutions in the form of solar mini grid systems to our clients to meet their seamless energy requirements. We also work on the energy storage as grid ancillary service to our clients.

Building automation

With advent of IoT technologies in the lighting and HVAC automation, the IoT based solutions are being adopted by our clients to improve the operational efficiency of their buildings. We analyse the building automation requirements of our clients and offer them customised solutions to meet their lighting, HVAC, and other building controls using the IoT based technologies.
