This certification is a testament to DLF’s commitment to sustainability and zero waste. TRUE certification is an internationally recognized standard for zero waste, evaluating buildings based on their waste reduction efforts, recycling, and composting programs. Over 200 buildings have been TRUE certified globally, but only three buildings have achieved the TRUE Platinum certification so far.

DLF Cyber City Hyderabad’s achievement is even more impressive because it is one of the largest and most complex commercial buildings in India. Achieving TRUE Platinum certification required a relentless effort from the Firstgreen Consulting sustainability team, which worked closely with DLF to implement waste reduction strategies, set up recycling and composting systems, and educate occupants.
