IGBC Health and Well Being Rating
The objective of the rating is to facilitate the buildings to incorporate people centric measures for enhancing the health & well-being. The framework will enable organisations to address various aspects such as indoor air quality, water quality, hygiene parameters, healthy food choices and lifestyle.
Procedure for IGBC Certification
Eligibility
Except for industrial complexes, all buildings – offices, retail malls, institutions, hotels, hospitals, health-care facilities, residences and multifamily high rise buildings- in the pre-design/design stage are eligible for GRIHA.
Registration
Project teams interested in IGBC Health & Well-being Rating Certification for their project must first register with IGBC. Projects can be registered on IGBC website (www.igbc.in) under ‘IGBC Health & Well-being Rating’.
Documentation
To earn the IGBC Health & Well-being Rating, the project must satisfy all the mandatory requirements and the minimum number of credit points. The project team is expected to provide supporting documents at preliminary/ design, final/ construction and performance stage of submission for all the mandatory requirements and the credits attempted.
