Overview
Capital Cyberscape is a 72747 sqm multi story office building in Gurgaon. The Capital Group appointed Firstgreen Consulting for its green building certification from GRIHA. The buildings is designed with a favourable orientation so that heat gains are minimal, and cleverly for the climate, we need less cost on air conditioning. The building used materials such as Kota stone, AAC block, etc so that materials embodied energy can be reduced.

The following strategies were adopted to reduce the building impact on the natural environment:
- Top soil was preserved and re-applied in landscape on site.
- Air pollution control measures such as site barricading, coverage of dusty material, wheel washing and water sprinkling is implemented during construction.
- Reduction of 50 % from the GRIHA base case has been demonstrated in landscape water demand through use of highly efficient drip irrigation system.
- Annual water use reduction of 70% from the GRIHA base case has been demonstrated in building water use by installing water efficient flush and flow fixtures and reuse of water.
- EPI reduction of more than 48% from GRIHA benchmark has been demonstrated.
- Fly-ash bricks, PPC and AAC blocks have been used in the project to reduce embodied energy of the building.

Data collection during the performance period
The building data is collected related to Sustainable Site, Construction management, Water management, Energy optimization , Occupant comfort, Solid Waste management,Sustainable Building Material, and life cycle Cost Analysis
Step-3
Review of documentation by GRIHA team
GRIHA closely review all the documentation and the Criterion are awarded as per their norms.
Step-4
Final certification
Once all the review replies are satisfied by the GRIHA review team, the building is awarded appropriate certification based on the Criterion approved.
