The Commerce Park is a 20-story , 806161 square foot structure which is primarily used as a office building. EMAAR appointed Firstgreen consulting for its green building certification from GRIHA. The starting points of the planning for the project are principles of sustainability and natural convenience. Its buildings have been constructed with materials which are durable, and balanced enough to withstand the hot, dusty, infrequently wet environment of Haryana. The buildings is designed with a favourable orientation so that heat gains are minimal, and cleverly for the climate, we need less cost on air conditioning. The building used materials such as Kota stone, AAC block, etc so that materials embodied energy can be reduced.
Rigorous 3D energy modelling was done by Firstgreen team to assess the suitable glass selection with low U and SHGC value in the building to reduce the heat gain. The lighting was done using the LEDs to keep the lighting power density below 0.5W/SQFT. There will also be basic five amenities within 500 meter of project.
