LEED certification first became a goal of the DLF group for its commercial and retail buildings in early 2011. The DLF group contracted with Firstgreen Consulting to provide the guidance needed to meet the LEED-EBOM certification at the Platinum certification level. Firstgreen Consulting provided consulting services to update all plans, policies, audits, and best practices to meet the current rating system. Developed by DLF in Newtown, Rajarhat, DLF IT Park offers unique features such as retail and entertainment complex and restaurants. It boasts state-of-the-art infrastructure and comprises world-renowned firms. With a super area of 2.2 million square feet, this complex of three independent towers and a retail complex is built around a large landscaped garden. It has large, efficient floor plates, wide column span and high floor-to-floor clearances.The building is EBOM, constructed and maintained by DLF. The LEED EBOM implementation process planted in May 2017. The project had six month performance period from October 2017 to March 2018 for all credits.
The entire facility has used Energy Star rated Equipments in order to reduce energy demand.
All water fixtures installed in the building are low water consumption.
DLF has done carbon offset by carbon credits to achieve 100% carbon offset for this building
