Recently, the Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) has invited tenders for a 20 MW (AC) solar PV power plant with 20 MW / 50 MWh battery energy storage system (BESS) at Phyang, Leh, UT of Ladakh, India. The project aims to reduce the dependency on conventional power generation sources and help Ladakh move towards a sustainable energy future.
