Dr. Vashishtha is the founder and CEO of Firstgreen Consulting. He has over 20 years of professional experience in the renewable energy sector across industry, academic institutions and consulting segments (Renewables, & Climate change). As the CEO, he currently leads Firstgreen,s initiatives in solar and green buildings. Dr. Vashishtha has worked in diverse areas ranging from Technology, Policy, financing, & project management. He has been involved with MNRE various working group to evolve the solar policy of India. He has also worked with worldbank as a technical expert for solar water pumping programs in the states of Rajsthan, Asam and West Bangal. He has significant international experience and has participated in the ADBs missions to Maldives, Srilanka, Nepal, for technical and policy assignments. Dr. Vashishtha has been part of ECO2 program of Worldbank to promote the building energy efficiency and was active member in formulating the ECBC code of Bureau iof Energy Efficiency.

Over the years, Dr. Vashishtha has worked across the value chain in the renewable energy domain along with various stakeholders. He brings to the table a comprehensive understanding of the sector both at a holistic level as well as understanding each aspect in its detail. Dr. Vashishtha has been an academician and have worked as a faculty member in BITS Pilani. Dr. Vashishtha has conducted several training programs in the area of renewable energy and energy efficiency.
