LEED Certification of Ericsson Tower

LEED certification first became a goal of the  DLF group for its commercial and retail buildings in early 2011. The DLF group contracted with Firstgreen Consulting to provide the guidance needed to meet the LEED-EBOM certification at the Platinum certification level. Firstgreen Consulting provided consulting services to update all plans, policies, audits, and best practices to meet the current rating system. Located in the commercial hub of DLF Cyber City, Gurugram, DLF Ericsson Tower is the multinational company’s corporate office in India. This project has become one of the more renowned constructions by DLF. Developed across an area of 216090 sq ft., Its futuristic design and contemporary architecture  is a paradigm shift in the concept of commercial work spaces. The building is EBOM, constructed and maintained by DLF. The LEED EBOM implementation process  planted  in May 2017. The  project had six month performance period from October 2017 to March 2018 for all credits.

The entire facility has used Energy Star rated Equipments in order to reduce energy demand.

Review of documentation by USGBC

USGBC closely review all the documentation and the credits are awarded as per their norms.

Step-4

Final certification

Once all the review replies are satisfied by the USGBC review team, the building is awarded appropriate certification based on the credits approved.
